It’s Avi again. We’re on our way to the first Springfield of the day, Minnesota.
The countryside here is, as expected, broad and flat. But it’s also surprisingly beautiful. The snow from early last week has left everything covered in a thin blanket of white — enough to make things pretty, but not so much as to have any effect on our travel. In fact, it was only late last night that we found out there’d been bad weather in the midwest, but to the south of us.
Where we are? 20° F and sunny. Gorgeous. Particularly with the wind turbines spinning off in the distance.
[Also, for Shoshanah’s parents: it’s not a little car. It’s big and safe, we promise.]
